Adapter & VS26 "Leather" Replmt Seal

Adapter & VS26mm Leather Seal Replacement.
Vortek together with Progunner, Sweden, developed a adapter providing a simple method to convert old air guns with leather piston seal, to synthetic seal.
This adapter / upgrade is designed primarily for 26mm cylinder airguns with leather piston seal mounted.
With this upgrade to VORTEK Vac-Seal 26 synthetic piston seal, you obtain significantly better performance and smoother operation, and significantly more damping against piston slam. Easily installed with a standard Allen key.
VORTEK Vac-Seal also prevents spring fracture, which is commonly found on older spring rifles with leather piston seal.

Note that long-term use of faulty leather piston seal will result in scratches and dents in the cylinder, which may affect performance. Be sure to remove all sharp edges and scratches before you mount the Vac-Seal conversion in your spring air rifle.

Norica with 26mm cylinder
Bavaria / BSF 45, BSF 50, BSF 54, BSF 55, BSF S60, BSF S70, all with 26mm cylinder.

No sizing required for most 26mm compression tubes. Easily increase the over-all shot cycle of your older 26MM air gun performance simple by replacing the old leather seal with an adapter and seal.
The new Vortek Adapter will accept both the HW-OEM 26mm standard seal, and the high performance Vortek VacSEAL26. 

Our Adapters and Seals are precision machined and easy to DIY simply by  using a driver to remove the old Leather seal, and turn-in the new adapter and seal.

Our Leather Seal Replacement threads direct into the piston. The thread is commonly an 5m x 1m in most Leather Seal attachments. If the thread is different from the one we supply, the OEM screw that is currently in the Leather Seal may be put through the hole of the seal retainer and used. Either way, there is now an option to use synthetic sealing to greatly improve shot cycle and velocity performance.

We have had report calculations of 3-5% increase in performance with a smoother shot cycle.NOTE: very important to check for scratches and burrs in the cylinder of older airguns.
